Twinkle Khanna recently joined the bandwagon of celebrities and media who are obsessed with Orhan Awatramani aka Orry. She recently shared her fascination with the social influencer.
In her Times of India column, Twinkle Khanna curated a list of ‘feasible’ resolutions for 2024. The final resolution drew inspiration from the movie ‘Finding Nemo’ and centered around the concept of being an ‘Orry’ rather than following Dory.Twinkle emphasized the significance of recognizing one’s strengths and capitalizing on them. Using Orry as an example, she pointed out that despite not adhering to a conventional profession, Orry has achieved cultural prominence by attending parties and mingling with well-known personalities.

Twinkle Khanna shared her amusement, recounting an incident in which senior journalists humorously referred to each other as the ‘Orry of poor people’ and the ‘Orry of intellectuals’ during a podcast. Expressing her fascination, she mentioned that if Orry were to write a book on making friends and influencing people in Bollywood, she would be the first to buy it.

Twinkle Khanna penned about Orry, highlighting that he doesn’t fit the typical roles of an actor, businessman, or engage in activities like dancing, singing, or producing commodities like oil, coal, or steel. According to her, Orry doesn’t participate in elections or cricket either. Instead, Orry is renowned for attending parties and posing with his celebrity friends. Despite his unconventional path, Twinkle noted that Orry has captivated everyone’s fascination, including the aforementioned journalists. She expressed a keen interest in purchasing a book titled ‘How to Make Friends and Influence People in Bollywood’ if Orry were to write one, acknowledging his unique place in the current cultural landscape.

Orry had previously spoken about how a particular picture with Kylie Jenner played a significant role in elevating his visibility. In an interview with Cosmopolitan, he emphasised that he doesn’t consider himself friends with individuals in the ‘film industry,’ but rather with his peers who share a similar age and educational background. Orry acknowledged that a single picture taken during his birthday celebration at Kylie Jenner’s house garnered attention and contributed to his newfound recognition.
