Twitter will offer ad revenue share to select content creators

Content creators will get a share of the revenue from the ads displayed in their replies, Twitter said.

San Francisco:

Twitter said on Thursday that select content creators on the social media platform will be eligible to get a share of the advertising revenue earned by the company.

Twitter said content creators will get a share of revenue from ads displayed in their replies, to be eligible creators must be a verified user with at least 5 million impressions on each post in the past 3 months and have a Stripe payment Account.

Twitter is trying to attract more content creators to the platform. Earlier this year, the company allowed users to offer paid subscriptions to their content on the platform.

Billionaire Elon Musk, who bought Twitter last October, previously said the company would pass all subscription revenue to creators in the first year, except for payment gateway fees.
