Twitter working on in-app currency to help creators monetize; deets inside

New Delhi: Twitter is reportedly working on launching its own in-app currency ‘Coin’, which will help creators make money on the micro-blogging platform. The new feature was spotted by app researchers Jane Manchun Wong and Nima Ovji, who shared it on the micro-blogging platform on Tuesday.

According to a picture shared by Wong last week, users will be able to buy gifts ranging from one coin to 5,000 coins. It could be possible that Twitter will get a cut of the revenue generated from coin purchases.
