Mysuru: Two senior citizens, including a security guard, were brutally killed by beheading at a sawmill in Hunsur, about 45 km from Mysuru city.
It is being told that the murders were done on Wednesday late night.
Superintendent of Police Seema Latkar confirmed the killing of two elderly people in Hunsur town.
Police have said that the motive behind the killings is not known and investigations are on.
Sources claim that Venkatesh (73) and Shanmugha (67), residents of the sawmill, were killed.
Venkatesh worked as a security guard while Shanmugha did menial jobs in the mill.
Their heads were found crushed possibly with blunt objects or stones.
