Ukraine attack on Russia-controlled town kills 16: Official – Times of India

NEW DELHI: An official appointed by Russia in Ukraine‘s Zaporizhzhia region reported that the death toll from Ukrainian military shelling in Tokmak has reached 16, with 20 people injured and 12 in critical condition.
Yevgeny Balitsky, the region’s top Moscow-appointed official, shared this information on the Telegram messaging app.
No response from Ukraine regarding the alleged attacks has been reported yet.
Zaporizhzhia is among the Ukrainian regions partly occupied by Russian forces, which Moscow sought to annex following the full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.
