UP civic polls: Adityanath says BJP govt has imposed ‘Aligarh lock’ on riots in state

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday said that the BJP’s double engine government has put an “Aligarh lock” on the riots in the state.

Campaigning for the second phase of urban local body elections in Aligarh, which is famous for its locks, Adityanath hit out at the opposition parties for promoting “tamancha (country pistol) culture” in the state.

The Chief Minister also held public meetings in Badaun, Shahjahanpur and Bareilly and talked about law and order and development in his speeches in these districts. Adityanath said in Aligarh, “BJP’s double engine government has put Aligarh lock on riots in the state and made UP riot-free.”

The term “double-engine” is often used by BJP leaders to refer to the party’s governance at the Center and in the state.

In an apparent reference to the Samajwadi Party and the Bahujan Samaj Party, the CM said that people with ‘parivarwadi’ (dynastic) and ‘jaatiwadi’ (casteist) mindset gave ‘tamancha’ to the youth after coming to power.

He said, ‘We changed this gun culture and made tablets available to two crore youth.’

Adityanath said that Aligarh is known all over the world for its locks and the BJP government is working towards its revival.

“(Aligarh’s) lock industry will be given a global platform with the help of one district one product initiative,” he said.

“Tala (locks), talim (education) and tehzeeb (culture) of Aligarh were once its hallmark. But the casteist mentality of the dynastic parties has stopped the lock industry of Aligarh and created obstacles.

“These casteist and dynastic parties have nothing to do with education and culture. He adopted the policy of divide and rule and used it to divide the society on the basis of appeasement. He tried to widen the gap in the society. The result of this was that even during the festivals, there was an atmosphere of fear among the people.

Polling will be held on May 11 in the second phase of urban local body elections in Aligarh. The counting of votes will take place on May 13.

Adityanath said that the people of the state were forced to face curfew for a long time.

But today you are seeing Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh and India changing. The perception about India has changed under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Indians are treated with respect wherever they go.

What could not be done in the last 60-65 years, was done in nine years. The government has worked hard to eliminate terrorism, naxalism and separatism in the country.”

Referring to the Ram temple in Ayodhya, Adityanath credited the efforts of the BJP’s double engine government to resolve the 500-year-old dispute.

“Today, Kashi Vishwanath Dhaam is being constructed in Kashi, whereas Mathura and Vrindavan are being decorated. Along with this, beautification of Naimisharanya, Vindhyavasini Dham, Lalapur of (sage) Valmiki and Rajapur of Tulsidas (both in Chitrakoot) is also underway,” he said.

The CM also said that an MoU has been signed with the Airports Authority of India for the construction of an airport in Aligarh.

We are going to connect it with air service and Rs 700 crore has already been released for the expansion of the airport, he said.

Apart from this, the construction of four lane highway from Ghaziabad to Aligarh via Kanpur is going on at a fast pace. A power plant is being set up in Harduaganj, which will make Aligarh the center of energy production.

The Chief Minister also said that the BJP’s double-engine government has named a university after Maharaja Mahendra Pratap Singh, who fought for the country’s independence and also donated land for the Aligarh Muslim University, though his name There is no signboard. AMU”.

Addressing a rally in Budaun, Adityanath said that until six years ago, dynastic parties used to give pistols to the youth. “The youth are becoming self-reliant as we are combining the talents of Uttar Pradesh with technology and training. The result of this is that UP is rapidly becoming the growth engine of India’s development. In Shahjahanpur, he said that in today’s state festivals have taken the place of nuisance and disorder. People celebrate the festival peacefully and with great enthusiasm. Now there is no curfew, but the Kanwar Yatra is taken out in a peaceful manner.

In Bareilly, the CM said that the city which was earlier known as a garbage dump has turned into a smart city. “There is an airport in Bareilly. Four lane and six lane roads are being constructed.
