UP STF arrests kingpin of constable paper leak from Noida | Lucknow News – Times of India

LUCKNOW: On Wednesday, the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) arrested the kingpin of the Uttar Pradesh police constable paper leak, Ravi Atri from Noida. He happens to be the 401st accused arrested in the paper leak case. The exam was held in four shifts on February 17 and 18, with 43 lakh candidates appearing for 60,244 constable posts. The paper was canceled on February 25 on the instruction of CM Yogi Adityanath, with the STF tasked to conduct the probe.Additional DG of STF, Amitabh Yash stated that Ravi Atri in connivance with Ankit Mishra who is currently elusive engineered the paper leak.
Yash revealed that, according to the STF probe, Ankit used to train employees of transportation companies, including TCI, and was acquainted with Ravi.
The probe also found that examination papers always arrived with a ‘Confidential’ label.
Additionally, Ravi Atri paid Rs 15 lakh to Ankit Mishra and one of the former employees of TCI in Ahmedabad, now arrested Abhishek Shukla.
“Abhishek Shukla had instructed two employees of the transport company ,both arrested to inform him as soon as the question papers arrived at the warehouse. As soon as the papers arrived, the gang got activated ,” said the STF.
Later, the seal was broken with the help of Dr. Shubham Mandal, a doctor in Bihar, who was provided with a flight ticket to Ahmedabad, and the leaked papers were distributed to others.
