LUCKNOW: A woman in Ahmadpur village in Maanpur area here, took the extreme step of consuming poison along with her three children following an argument with her husband, resulting in the tragic death of all four individuals, according to the police.
The woman, identified as Rajkumari (32), and her children Sumit (8), Neha (5), and Sandhya (3), succumbed to the poison.
Superintendent of Police Chakresh Mishra stated that the dispute with her husband is believed to be the cause of this distressing incident. Sanjeevan, the husband, has been taken into custody for questioning, while the bodies have been sent for post-mortem. The police have been deployed in the village to ensure law and order.
