Washington: US Attorney General Merrick Garland were visiting Ukraine on Tuesday to discuss the prosecution of individuals involved in war crimes in the European nation invaded by Russia in late February, a Justice Department official said.
Garland will meet with Ukrainian Prosecutor General Irinas venediktova “To discuss US and international efforts to help identify, apprehend and prosecute individuals involved in war crimes and other atrocities in Ukraine,” the official said.
