A man is facing felony charges after FBI officials said he placed a hidden camera inside a public toilet on a Royal Caribbean cruise. according to a report by nbc miamiHidden cameras filmed more than 150 people, including 40 minors.

According to a complaint filed last week in federal court in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Jeremy Fryas boarded a Royal Caribbean ship in Miami on April 29 bound for St. Maarten, San Juan and the Bahamas.

One of the passengers reported that there was a camera in the bathroom, security searched it and found a micro SD card that was inserted into the camera. It shows Mr. Fryas adjusting the camera and connecting it to his phone.

The complaint states, “The initial video shows Fryas hiding the camera and adjusting the angle of the camera so it focuses on the toilet area.” “Froias is also seen taking his Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max out of his pocket and appears to have connected the phone to a hidden camera using Wi-Fi. Froias then exits the bathroom.”

“Individuals are seen coming into the bathroom either to use the restroom or to change into or out of swimsuits,” court documents state. “Froyas’ cameras captured these individuals in various stages of undress, including capturing video of their naked genitals, buttocks and female breasts.”

Mr. Frias has reportedly admitted to having the camera in the bathroom and ABC News also reported that he knew it was found because he was unable to find it when he went to collect it a day later.

Froias has been charged with attempted video eavesdropping and possession of child abuse material. He was released on $25,000 bond by a judge on Monday pending trial. He didn’t give any argument.
