Actor and singer Vijay Yesudas is all set to headline the film Salmon 3D, written and directed by Shailil Kallur. The film will be released in theaters on June 30. It revolves around Sarfarosh (Vijay Yesudas), his wife Sameera (Jonita Dada) and their daughter Shaza (Baby Devanand), who live in Dubai. The story takes a new turn after a murder.
Salmon 3D will release in Hindi, Tamil, Marathi, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada and Bengali. Rajeev Pillai, Dhruvanath, Meenakshi Jaiswal and others also acted in this movie.

Srijit Advana composed the music for the film. The songs Kadhal En Kaviye and Nee Pogum Vazhiyangam have received great response. Sid Sriram has sung the first musical number composed by Naveen Kannan. Naveen has also penned the lyrics of Nee Pogum Vazhiengum, which has been sung by Vijay. Vijay recently made headlines when it was revealed that he was initially part of the cast of Ponniyin Selvan directed by Mani Ratnam. The actor revealed this at a media event and said that his scenes were cut during editing. As per reports, Vijay was selected to play a negative role and is paired with Vikram (Aditya Karikalan) by Ponniyin Selvan’s associate director. Vijay said that he had also shot his portions in Rajahmundry town for a few days. He said it was a moment he would always cherish as he worked with Vikram and Mani Ratnam.
