TIRUPATI: YSRCP‘s Rajya Sabha MP V Vijayasai Reddy, who is also the party’s nominee for the Nellore parliament in the 2024 general elections, has reportedly roped in 200 odd political campaign associates to help him in securing his maiden electoral victory in his high stakes battle against Telugu Desam party‘s Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy at Simhapuri.
While the TDP has tried to label Sai Reddy as a non-local, the YSRCP nominee is learned to be enforcing a micro strategy with the help of his campaign associates, in identifying and addressing micro level issues faced by various sections of people across the parliament constituency.
With local issues becoming the key in the upcoming elections, Sai Reddy has been extending issue-specific promises to the voters such as pledging support for the truck drivers community who have been facing severe losses due to spiralling fuel prices.
The YSRCP nominee has also been showering assurances to reduce taxes on commercial electricity bills, garbage etc.and to transform Nellore as a green city, characterized by green spaces, efficient infrastructure and a high quality of life for the people of Nellore.
