Vikrant Massey spoke on pay disparity
Vikrant Massey admits to being paid less than his female co-stars. The actor cited Deepika Padukone as an example.
Vikrant Massey is a brilliant actor and has given exceptional performances in Lootera, Mirzapur, Haseen Dilruba, Love Hostel. As part of the promotion of his upcoming series Crime Aaj Kal, Massey revealed in an interview that contrary to the perception that male actors earn more than their female counterparts, they have always earned less in comparison.

He further added, “Most of my female co-stars are paid more than me. I never made a fuss about it. My big job doesn’t make me as much money as you know, Deepika Padukone, of course.
The actor also quipped about the roles he likes to do and why. He said, “On social media I feel comfortable doing things I feel about, or strongly about… There have been days when I have said something about myself, my family, my wife… Have taken the comments to heart and I have not been able to. to sleep that day.

Apart from Crime Aaj Kal, the actor will also be reprising his role in the sequel of Haseen Dilruba alongside Taapsee Pannu.
