Punjab’s wanted gangster Harvinder Singh alias Rinda has been declared a terrorist by the Union Home Ministry. Rinda is associated with the Khalistani terrorist organization Babbar Khalsa International (BKI). He works as the India head of BKI. The interesting thing about Harvinder Rinda is that some time back the news of his death came in Lahore, Pakistan.
However, no one has officially confirmed this yet. Cases ranging from grenade attack to target killing are registered on terrorist Rinda in Punjab. Because of which a Red Corner notice has also been issued against him. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) had declared the name of Rs 10 lakh on Rinda.
The Ministry of Home Affairs says that Sandhu is associated with the terrorist organization Babbar Khalsa International and is currently in Lahore, Pakistan, under the protection of cross-border agencies. He has been found involved in various terrorist activities in Punjab.
Sitting in Pakistan, Rinda worked to supply drugs and weapons through drones in India and especially in Punjab.
Apart from this, the Ministry of Home Affairs has declared 2 organizations Khalistan Tiger Force (KTF) and Jammu and Kashmir Ghaznavi Force (JKGF) as terrorist organizations.
Jammu and Kashmir Ghaznavi Force is accused of carrying out terrorist attacks along with drug and arms smuggling along with infiltration attempts in Jammu and Kashmir. The Ministry of Home Affairs says that this organization recruits its members from many terrorist organizations like Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed, Tehreek-ul-Mujahideen, Harkat-ul-Jihad-e-Islami etc.
Whereas, Khalistan Tiger Force is a fundamentalist organization. Whose aim is to spread terrorism again in Punjab. This organization is also behind the target killing in Punjab. The Ministry of Home Affairs says that this organization challenges India’s territorial integrity, unity, national security and sovereignty.

Pakistan had fled through Nepal: Rinda was a resident of Tarn Taran in Punjab. Later he shifted to Nanded Maharashtra. He was sentenced to life imprisonment in a murder case in September 2011. After his name surfaced in several criminal cases, he fled to Pakistan on a fake passport via Nepal. There Pakistani intelligence agency ISI made him its henchman.
He started sending weapons from Pakistan through drones through the international border in Punjab. Rinda is a history sheeter. He has been a notorious gangster in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Maharashtra. He is wanted by the Punjab Police in several cases of murder, contract killing, dacoity, extortion and snatching.

Harvinder Rinda recently got a rocket attack done on the Intelligence Headquarters of Punjab Police in Mohali. After this, a grenade attack was carried out on the police station in Tarn Taran. Earlier, he was accused of getting IED attacks done at CIA office in Nawashar, Anandpur Sahib and police station Kahlwan. Apart from this, Rinda’s name also came up behind the bomb found in Karnal a few months back.

After reaching there, he started working as the India head of the Khalistani organization Babbar Khalsa International (BKI). His main work there was to supply arms and drugs in India.
