Vijay Deverakonda shared a picture of himself and his brother holding SRH flags from the stands.
It is that time of the year when the cricket fever grips the nation. The 2024 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2024) has kicked off, creating a buzz and excitement among enthusiasts. While fans are already hoarding the stadiums to watch their favourite teams play, celebrities are also not far behind. South actor Vijay Deverakonda was among the latest celebrities to join in the cricket fever. The Arjun Reddy star was recently spotted watching an IPL match at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad along with his brother Anand.
The Deverakonda brothers came together to watch the Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Mumbai Indians IPL match on Wednesday, 27 March. The actor also shared pictures from the stadium on his social media handle as they cheered for their home team as SRH won against the Hardik Pandya-led Mumbai Indians.
Vijay shared a picture of himself and his brother holding SRH flags from the stands. Flaunting broad smiles on their faces, the brothers looked the happiest as they celebrated the team’s victory. “Winning,” he wrote in the caption with an orange heart emoji.
The actor shared a close snap of him on his Instagram Stories with a similar caption.
While Vijay looked dapper in a white t-shirt paired with a black leather jacket and black trousers, his brother chose an orange shirt with black trousers.
Last seen in Shiva Nirvana’s Kushi alongside Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Vijay Deverakonda will be next seen in Parasuram Petla’s Family Star. He will feature opposite actress Mrunal Thakur. Also starring actors like Abhinaya, Vasuki, Rohini Hattangadi, and Ravi Babu, the film will be released on 5 April 2024, in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi. The actor is presently busy with promotions for Family Star. The film’s trailer has been unveiled, giving a glimpse into Vijay’s character, who plays an architect, facing a series of troubles while struggling to rise and defeat enemies.
The actor shared the trailer on his X handle and wrote, “This summer. In just one week- go celebrate, laugh, cheer, relive and have a great time in the theatres.”
Besides that, he also has a film tentatively titled VD 12, said to be directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri. While details about the film have been kept under wraps, it is expected to feature Sree Leela as the female lead.
