When Hrithik Roshan picked up smoking after perfect body shots in ‘Fighter’; says, ‘In one week, my resting heart rate went up from 45 to 75’ | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Hrithik Roshan, currently receiving acclaim for his role in ‘Fighter,’ disclosed an unusual celebration choice after achieving the perfect body shots for the film.
In an interview with Film Companion, Hrithik revealed the challenges of undergoing three body transformations for the Siddharth Anand directorial. Upon completing the demanding task and not having planned a reward, Hrithik resorted to smoking, only to realise the adverse effects on his health, prompting him to quit.
The actor candidly shared his post-shoot experience, stating, “When the day came and my body shot got done, it got over, and I was so happy and relieved. But nothing was filling me up. So, I picked up a cigarette and started smoking. I went into the other deep end, and that’s a learning experience in itself because, in one week, my resting heart rate went up from 45 to 75.”
He further said that since it was bad for him, he decided to stop. He said, “We only plan, schedule, and brainstorm about the building, but what happens after the victory? That also needs a plan.”
Hrithik further said that he has received enough praise for his recently released aerial action flick ‘Fighter’ and is moving on to his next project, ‘War 2′, which is scheduled to release in 2025.
