Manoj Bajpayee’s Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi releases on Tuesday.
In Aap Ki Adalat, Manoj recalled the moment when Tabu touched his feet on the sets of a film in front of the entire media.
Manoj Bajpayee is going to entertain the audience once again as a lawyer in Just Ek Banda Kofi Hai. While the film is already under fire from fans of religious leader and convicted rapist Asaram Bapu who want it banned as it is “based” on the same issue, Bajpayee has urged fans to watch it first.
Bajpayee is known for bringing his characters to life on the big screen, and is admired by both the audience and other actors. He recalled the time when popular Bollywood actresses like Katrina Kaif and Tabu rubbed his feet on Aap Ki Adalat hosted by India TV’s Rajat Sharma.
Manoj Bajpayee said of touching Tabu’s feet on the sets of the film, “It was Tabu’s style of showing her appreciation, and Katrina Kaif did a great job.” with me (in politics). We haven’t shared a single scene. She was very happy with my performance. She was overjoyed,” he said.
When the actor was asked about his reaction to Katrina Kaif touching her feet, he further said, “There was a bit of embarrassment. Such a beautiful heroine, that size pair is touching you. You are already old.”
Actor Apoorva Singh will next be seen in Karky’s film Sirf Ek Banda Kafi Hai, which releases today (May 23) on Zee5. The film is based on true events, where Manoj Bajpayee plays a lawyer who defends a girl who has accused a religious leader of raping her.
