Rajkot: A 25-year-old woman from Rajkot filed a complaint at Rajkot Taluka police station on Tuesday, accusing her live-in partner, Bharat Chandrapal, of rape. The woman alleged that she was repeatedly raped by Chandrapal, as a result of which she became pregnant and gave birth to a baby girl 18 months ago. She claimed that Chandrapal abandoned her and the child five months ago.She had met Chandrapal through her brother after her separation from her husband. She was in a relationship with Chandrapal for five years. She alleged that Chandrapal was abusive and followed her even after she moved to a nearby village. The police registered the case and were looking for the accused. TNN
