Woman pees on plane floor, claims airline didn't let her use washroom

Spirit Airlines has yet to comment on the matter.

Rude behavior on flights has become common in the last few months. From a passenger urinating on another passenger, airlines dropping off passengers at the airport to a woman being bitten by a scorpion in flight, these are some of the unusual incidents that have happened in the aviation industry recently. In another bizarre instance, a woman said she was “forced to urinate” mid-flight and claimed airline staff refused her access to the plane’s restroom for several hours, according to a report by View From the Wing.

The incident took place on a flight operated by US-based Spirit Airlines. According to the outlet, the woman claims she waited for two hours and “couldn’t take it anymore”. So, he urinated on the floor of the plane and a member of the cabin crew recorded the video.

The video’s caption read, “07/20/2023 An African American pees on the floor on a @SpiritAirlines flight because she didn’t want to wait for the restrooms to open after takeoff. Meanwhile, the flight attendant told her she should drink water ’cause your urine smells bad’.”

In the short clip, the woman can be seen sitting on the floor of the aeroplane, arguing with the crew members.

One user said, “This is disgusting.”

Another user commented, “Even my cat is very clean and patiently waits for her litter change…”

A third person said, “Every day brings its share of civilizational decline.”

Spirit Airlines has yet to comment on the matter.

However, this is not the first time such an incident has happened on a flight. In 2018, a Wizz Air passenger bent over and urinated on the floor of the plane after she was told she could not use the toilet while the plane was refueling, according to a report by UK’s Metro. The woman claimed that she was forced to defecate in the galley where food is usually prepared.
