United Kisan Morcha will protest across the country from May 11 to 18 in support of wrestlers

The United Kisan Morcha (SKM) has announced to launch a nationwide movement in support of women wrestlers who have been protesting at Jantar Mantar in Delhi since April 23. Under this, protesting at all state capitals, district headquarters and tehsil headquarters from May 11 to 18, the arrest of Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, president of the Wrestling Federation, will be demanded.

SKM leader Darshan Pal said that as part of the earlier programme, senior SKM leaders from Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and western Uttar Pradesh, hundreds of farmers and women farmers have reached the protest site at Jantar Mantar on Sunday.

He said that the SKM delegation would meet the Delhi Police Commissioner, the Union Sports Minister and the Union Home Minister to demand the immediate arrest of Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. During the nationwide agitation from May 11 to 18, effigies of the Modi government will be burnt.

Groups of women farmers from Punjab reached Jantar Mantar

In support of the wrestlers, groups of women farmers from Punjab reached Jantar Mantar on Sunday. At the same time, the United Kisan Morcha (SKM) has announced to start a nationwide movement in support of women wrestlers.
