Deepika Padukone will soon be seen in Project K with Amitabh Bachchan.

An old video of Deepika Padukone performing at the opening ceremony of IPL is going viral on social media. When the actress performed on stage, former cricketer Yuvraj Singh was seen teasing cricketer MS Dhoni, who were sitting next to each other. In the video, Deepika is seen grooving to the song Chor Bazaari from her hit film Love Aaj Kal.

A fan club shared the video and wrote, “I miss his stage performance ❤️. And Dhoni’s expression ❤️Throwback to his performance at the IPL opening ceremony. Deepika looked drop dead gorgeous in a golden glitter top and shimmery green lower. She definitely gave a powerful performance with her energy on stage. While she performed, the camera panned towards Yuvraj and Dhoni, who were seen enjoying the performance, while the latter teased Dhoni. Fans went berserk and wrote in the comments section, ‘Deepika is our favorite religion.’ Another fan wrote, “yes her stage performance>>>”.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Deepika was last seen in Siddharth Anand’s Pathan, which emerged as Bollywood’s highest grosser of all time. Deepika was seen alongside Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham in the film, which also stars Ashutosh Rana and Dimple Kapadia in pivotal roles. The film hit the theaters in January this year.

Next, Deepika will be seen in Nag Ashwin’s sci-fi action project K, which will also feature Prabhas and megastar Amitabh Bachchan in key roles. The multi-starrer film features an ensemble cast including Dulquer Salmaan, Disha Patani and Gaurav Chopra. Apart from this, Deepika also has Siddharth Anand’s Fighter with Hrithik Roshan and Anil Kapoor.

Coming back to Dhoni, the cricketer lifted the IPL trophy for the 5th time this year with his IPL team Chennai Super Kings.
