Zee Karda trailer: Tamannaah Bhatia, Suhail Nayyar’s stormy love story promises to be an emotional roller coaster

The trailer of Ji Karda is finally out. Hussain Dalal and Abbas Dalal wrote the series, and Arunima Sharma directed it. Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films handled the production. The trailer takes the viewers on a journey filled with fun, drama and emotions, showcasing the lives of seven childhood friends who are deeply connected despite being separated from each other. Simone Singh and Malhar Thacker play the lead roles in Ji Kardaa, which also stars Tamannaah Bhatia, Aashim Gulati, Suhail Nayyar, Anya Singh, Hussain Dalal, Sayan Banerjee, and Sandesh Suwalka as seven childhood friends. Starting June 15, Prime members will be able to watch the series online.

Lavanya (Tamannah Bhatia) and Rishabh (Suhail Nayyar) are the IT couple in the group and are planning to get married. Their school friends join in the celebrations but as the wedding approaches, complications arise and relationships take an interesting turn. The trailer showcases two best friends, played by Tamannaah Bhatia and Suhail Nayyar, who decide to convert their friendship into marriage and realize the complications and consequences of the same. Aashim Gulati, Anya Singh, Hussain Dalal, Sayan Banerjee, and Sandesh Suwalka play the other five friends to join them in their wedding celebrations, but the relationships take an interesting turn. The show is directed by Arunima Sharma.

Talking about Zee Karda, Tamannaah Bhatia said, “My time working on Zee Karda was absolutely incredible, for me, the show was the closest I ever came to having characters that matched my own personality. The friendships I formed in I were unlike any other, and I believe these types of bonds are irreplaceable. This show truly captures the essence of the nostalgia, the dynamism and the experiences I had in the city I lived in. I understand well what I belong to.

Producer Dinesh Vijan said, “Zee Karda’s biggest strength is its unique appeal in the digital landscape. While Prime Video has produced several memorable shows, Zee Karda speaks to young adult audiences rarely seen in the web space.” In spirit, this show reminds me of Cocktail, the movie that put Maddock on the map. This funny, fresh and feel-good story will leave a mark in the hearts of today’s youth.
