Zeenat Aman, who often shared pictures and stories of her decades-long career in Bollywood on her Instagram, has now shared a throwback picture. Amitabh Bachchan in his latest post. The veteran actress reminisced working with megastar Amitabh Bachchan and said that one of the reasons they make a good onscreen “couple” is their shared working style. Zeenat took to Instagram to talk about working with Amitabh in the 1981 film ‘Laawaris’, which also starred Amjad Khan. The story revolves around an orphan who stumbles upon reality while searching for his parents.

The film became known for its song “Mere Angne Mein Tumhaara Kya Kaam Hai”. The second version became very popular because of Bachchan’s comic performance in drag. Zeenat shared a still from the film and wrote: “Laawaris released 42 years ago today on 22nd May 1981. An age old masala blockbuster, it is the story of a man who is born out of an illicit relationship , and includes themes of love, betrayal, murder and reconciliation.”
