24 ministers of Siddaramaiah cabinet to be sworn in today: Names surfaced; Departments can also be divided

24 MLAs of Karnataka government will take oath as ministers on Saturday i.e. 27th May. In Delhi, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Deputy CM DK Shivakumar and other leaders have finalized the names. At the same time, portfolios of ministers can also be divided on Saturday itself.

On May 20, Siddaramaiah was sworn in as Chief Minister and DK Shivakumar as Deputy Chief Minister. Along with this, 8 ministers including Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s son were also sworn in by Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot.

Maximum 3 ministers out of 8 are SC, South Karnataka

These 24 MLA will take oath

The names of the MLAs who are to take oath as ministers are HK Patil, Krishna Byregowda, N Cheluvarayaswamy, K Venkatesh, HC Mahadevappa, Eshwar Khandre, N Rajanna, Dinesh Gundu Rao, S Darshanpur, Shivanand Patil, Ramappa Balappa, S Mallikarjuna, Shivraj Sangappa, Rudrappa Patil, Mankal Vaidya, R Hebalkar, Rahim Khan, D Sudhakar, Santosh Lad, NS Boseraju, Suresh BS, Madhu Bangarappa, MS Sudhakar, B Nagendra.

In the first cabinet, attention was given to South Karnataka instead of North Karnataka. There are 5 ministers from South Karnataka, while only 3 from North. At the same time, maximum 3 ministers out of 8 are from SC. Congress has done social engineering by making ministers from the rest of the community as well.

While CM Kuruba, Deputy CM DK Shivakumar is from Vokkaliga community. Besides these, Dr G Parameshwara, KH Muniyappa, Priyank Kharge are from SC.
