Taking to Twitter, Ilaiyaraaja shared his excitement as a citizen and posted a statement.

Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of the new Parliament building on December 10, 2020. It is made with quality construction in record time.
The task of building the new Parliament House was a mammoth endeavour. It also saw many major construction activities off-site. In addition, the construction also saw the use of materials sourced from across the country.
According to government officials, teak wood was sourced from Nagpur, Maharashtra, while sandstone (red and white) was procured from Sarmathura, Rajasthan.
Carpets were brought from Mirzapur in Uttar Pradesh to lay the floor in the new building.
The bamboo wood flooring has come from Agartala, Tripura.
UP stone lattice works were received from Rajnagar, Rajasthan and Noida.
The materials involved in the making of the Ashoka Emblem were sourced from Aurangabad, Maharashtra and Jaipur, Rajasthan, while the Ashoka Chakra came from Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
Some of the furniture acquired was bought from Mumbai. Lakha red granite was obtained from Lakha, Jaisalmer. The Ambaji white marble was procured from Ambaji, Rajasthan. Saffron green stone was procured from Udaipur.
The stone carvings were sourced from Abu Road and Udaipur, and the stone collection was from Kotputli, Rajasthan.
M-sand was procured from Chakri Dadri, Haryana and fly ash bricks from NCR Haryana and Uttar Pradesh and brass work and pre-cast trenches were procured from Ahmedabad, Gujarat while false ceiling steel structures of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha Had come From the Union Territory of Daman and Diu.
Meanwhile, amid calls for a boycott by the opposition, the Center has received a firm list of 25 political parties, some of which are not part of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), that will participate in the inauguration ceremony.
