Earlier, Director Sudipto Sen Had told a news portal that the phenomenal box office success of the film has upset many in the film industry and have united to punish him by delaying its OTT release. Sharing her views on this, Adah said that a film which does well at the box office is good for all. According to him, it is a blessing for the theater owners as it is bringing revenue to the industry, and the profits from it lead to the production of many more films. The actress said that she recently visited Karnataka and the shows are running housefull there. ,
There are reports that due to the film’s controversies and allegations of political propaganda, streaming platforms are ‘somewhat hesitant to acquire the rights’. Dismissing all such rumours, Adah clarified that she faced criticism initially, but when people saw it and it did such a good business, they only heard good things about the film. According to him, there are testimonials from the girls on whom the film is based.
He also said that this film taught him one thing that you cannot generalise. You cannot deny something just because it has not happened to you.
