Adipurush: Kriti Sanon opens up on playing Janaki: ‘It made me believe in it more…’

Adipurush: After battling with the critics, the trailer of Adipurush finally released today and it has impressed the audience a lot. The trailer had earlier faced trolling for its poor VFX but this time the team has definitely worked on that. Directed by Om Raut, the film is a mythological drama based on the epic Ramayana. The film stars Prabhas as Lord Ram, Kriti as Sita and Sunny Singh as Laxman. In the movie, Saif Ali Khan He is seen playing the role of Lankesh. At the trailer launch today, the team of Adipurush shared a glimpse of the epic story.

Thank you so much for considering me worthy of your Janaki. I feel very blessed. I have tried to play this role with pure human being, with pure devotion, with pure respect, the rest is God. You are human, forgive me if I have made a mistake.

Kriti continued, “Respect and shraddha pehle se to thi hi, lekin film k dauraan aur badhti gayi kyuki main aur is kirdar ko samjhti gayi. Adipurush is now all set to hit the screens on June 16, 2023 in 3D.
