Amazon plans to enhance the shopping experience of users on its platform by introducing Artificial Intelligence (AI). According to a report, the e-commerce giant is planning to bring ChatGPT-style chatbot search to its web store. Amazon is reportedly hiring engineers to bring the power of AI to the platform.
The e-commerce giant is looking for senior software development engineers, according to a job posting by Amazon spotted by Bloomberg. The ad said the company is “re-imagining Amazon search with an interactive conversational experience” designed to help users find answers to questions, compare products, and receive personalized recommendations.
“We are looking for the best and brightest across Amazon to help us realize and deliver on this vision for our customers. This will be a once in a generational change for search,” the company said in the listing, which was posted on its job board last month.

The report also cited another job posting that calls for “a new AI-first approach to reimagine and reproduce the way discovery is made through the use of next-generation deep learning techniques at an extremely large scale.” Will be part of the initiative.”
