Mafia Atiq Ahmed’s fourth minor son along with his wife Shaista Parveen has also been involved in black money transactions. Police sources have claimed this while quoting Khan Soulat Hanif, a close aide of Atiq and advocate for Ashraf’s cases in the court, during the custodial remand for four hours on Wednesday.

With the help of the statement, the police can also tighten legal screws on Atiq’s minor son. The Dhumanganj police had applied to take Khan Saulat Haneef again on custody remand. For this, he appeared in the court on Wednesday, where the police asked for a three-day custodial remand, but the court granted a four-hour remand from three to seven in the afternoon on Wednesday.

As soon as he was remanded, the police brought him to the Dhumanganj police station and interrogated him. Sources say that Saulat has told that all but the youngest of his five sons were involved in Atiq’s black business. Elder son Umar and second number Ali are in jail. The third son Asad has been killed in the encounter. The remaining two younger sons are in the Child Protection Home of Rajrooppur.

It is claimed that after Umar and Ali went to jail, Asad had taken the reins in his own hand and started looking into the business of illegal extortion etc. himself. The minor son also used to take full interest in the transaction of money. Saulat also provided some screenshots, which are related to the chats done with Shaista and Ahjam regarding the transaction of money.
