Removed due to double decker fly-over
According to PWD officials, a double-decker fly-over is being constructed at Bhajanpura. It will have a metro route above and a road for common people below. Due to the temple and tomb, there is a situation of jam here every day, so it was removed after the consent of the local people.

AAP said – it is wrong to break religious places
On the other hand, PWD Minister Atishi in the Delhi Government has opposed this action. He tweeted and said- Mr. LG, I had written a letter to you a few days back requesting you to take back your decision to demolish temples and other religious places in Delhi.

Yet today on your orders a temple was demolished in Bhajanpura. I request you not to demolish temples and other religious places in Delhi. People’s faith is attached to them.
