The Dalai Lama, the supreme spiritual leader of Tibetans, said on Saturday that he is ready to hold talks with China. Those who want to meet me for the solution of Tibet problem can come. We do not want complete independence. Many years ago we decided that we would remain a part of China.

The Dalai Lama, who left for Ladakh on a month-long tour, was talking to reporters at Kangra Airport in Himachal Pradesh.

While leaving for Kangra airport from Mcleodganj, Tibetans in exile stood on the roadside and paid obeisance to the religious leader. Tibetans in exile, Buddhist followers, Buddhist monks wanted to see the Dalai Lama ahead of his visit to Ladakh, due to which a huge crowd of people was seen on the roads despite the rain.

Significantly, the Dalai Lama is trying to solve the Tibet problem by following the path of truth and non-violence.
