AAP is actively working on forming 45,000 village and ward committees in the state.
Initially, the exercise was expected to be completed by July 8. However, party sources claimed that the deadline would be extended till August 1. Once the process is over, Kejriwal will attend the oath ceremony.
A party member said, “This time the rally will be held in Udaipur or Kota division. Most probably the AAP supremo will come to Udaipur to take on both the opposition parties. The party will issue certificates to the committee members.”
(AAP) is planning to form village and ward committees in Rajasthan, setting up a strong organization ahead of the upcoming assembly elections.
AAP MLA in every Lok Sabha Punjab or their representatives have been entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing the campaign for the formation of working committees.
Former state organization minister Giriraj Singh Khangarot said AAP has projected itself as a strong alternative to contest the 200 assembly seats in the state. Clear instructions were given to complete the formation of these committees.
Khangarot said, “A campaign will be launched to set up these committees. The Village Committee will have 11 members, while the Ward Committee will have 21 members. Their primary objective will be to strengthen the party, promote its ideology and showcase its good work.
With the appointment of Naveen Paliwal as State President, the party is taking important steps to move forward with Mandal In-charges, Lok Sabha Presidents, District Presidents, Block Presidents and Mandal Presidents.
In the past, assembly elections in Rajasthan have been fought primarily between the BJP and the Congress, with both parties securing a majority of seats. However, AAP, which intends to contest all the seats in the upcoming assembly elections, is confident of its success. A party worker said, “The party has made arrangements at the organizational level to create enthusiasm among the workers.”
