Eardrums torn due to thrashing of ED officers: AAP’s allegation – Agency getting statements written after third degree torture

In a press conference in New Delhi, AAP leader Sanjay Singh made serious allegations against ED.

Aam Aadmi Party MP Sanjay Singh has made serious allegations against the Enforcement Directorate (ED). He said on Wednesday that ED officers are forcing people to write statements by doing third degree torture. ED beat a person named Chandan Reddy so much that he tore his eardrums. Sanjay also showed Reddy’s medical report.

Chandan Reddy has filed a petition in the High Court. It is written in it that ED officials made me sign those documents, which I was not aware of, facts which I did not know. He beat me so much for not signing that my eardrums burst.

Chandan Reddy told in his petition- There were some people who were not ED officers and they assaulted. Sanjay Singh questioned that who are those goons, who forcefully get statements written after beating in the ED office. This should be disclosed.

The AAP leader said that the authority of ED is being misused.

Sanjay Singh said- ED has now become an enforcement dictatorship. ED is making false statements written under pressure, third degree torture. Apart from Chandan Reddy, ED has also harassed Arun Pillai, Sameer Mahendru, Bhushan Belagavi, Manasamy Prabhune, Raghav Reddy. He also said in the court that statements were taken and written after torturing us and our family.

Sisodia’s PS was also harassed
Sanjay Singh claimed that Manish Sisodia’s PS Rinku was constantly harassed. I will also answer this in Parliament, ED officials should be called. How are they killing people? Are they above the law?

Sanjay Singh alleged that people are being made to sign by threatening the names of their daughters. A person was told that we will see how your daughter will go to college. Arun Pillai’s wife, daughter were threatened. Sameer Mahendru wrote in the court saying that his statement was taken forcibly. All these statements were taken in the excise case only. Which is being called a scam.

Sanjay Singh said- These are the people who came up with the slogan of Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao. He claimed that all this proves that Delhi is not an excise scam, but the ED is getting the statement written at gunpoint in Hitler’s gas chamber. The whole is making a false and baseless case. How can you make a case on false grounds. Those making false statements should be prosecuted.

ED arrests two AAP leaders

Manish Sisodia imprisoned in Tihar
Manish Sisodia is an accused in the liquor policy case. They are currently lodged in Tihar. He has appealed for bail in Rouse Avenue Court and Delhi High Court. The court has extended his judicial custody till April 17.

AAP leader Satyendar Jain was also arrested by ED.
Delhi’s Health Minister Satyendar Jain was arrested by the ED on 30 May 2022 in a money laundering case. Jain, his wife Poonam and others have been booked in the disproportionate assets and money laundering case. It is alleged that Jain had allegedly created or bought several shell companies in Delhi.
