Ensure Nda’s Clean Sweep In State: Cm | Patna News – Times of India

Patna: Chief minister Nitish Kumar on Sunday asked the party workers to work with full commitment and strength to ensure victory of the NDA candidates from all 40 Lok Sabha seats in Bihar. “Bihar is getting ‘full cooperation’ from the Centre for its development works, hence we have to make Narendra Modi the Prime Minister again for third consecutive term,” Nitish told the party workers.
The CM was interacting with the JD(U)’s panchayat presidents of five Lok Sabha constituencies going to the polls in the second phase, through virtual mode from the party’s state office here.
Besides taking feedback about the party’s preparations for the ongoing general elections, the CM also gave some tips to the party’s grassroot workers on how to interact with the common people and inform the villagers about the development works executed by the JD(U)-led successive governments since November, 2005.
Nitish further called upon the workers to inform people how the number of communal riots in the state was reduced after the JD(U)-led government came into power in November 2005.
Around 5,000 JD(U) workers from Bhagalpur, Banka, Kishanganj, Katihar and Purnia Lok Sabha constituencies, which are going to the voting in the second phase on April 26, participated in the meeting. Altogether 14 workers put up their views before the JD(U) chief.
“Total nine organizational districts of JD(U) falls under the five Lok Sabha seats. The party workers from all these nine organizational districts, 90 block units and 1,174 panchayat units participated in the virtual meeting,” JD(U) office secretary Sanjay Kumar Sinha told TOI.
