Woman Hurt As Guard Closes Society Gate, Complaint Filed | Ahmedabad News – Times of India

Ahmedabad: A 50-year-old man from the Shahibaug area of the city on Sunday filed a complaint with police alleging that his wife suffered injuries on her head and shoulder when a security guard suddenly closed a remote operated gate at their residential society when she was riding her scooter.
Rajesh Jain, who works as a share broker, said in his FIR with Shahibaug police that he along with his wife Kajal and their two children live at Orchid Green society in Girdharnagar locality of Shahibaug.Rajesh alleged in the FIR that his society’s chairman Kesarimal Jain and secretary Naresh Shah had instructed the society’s watchman Shailesh Patni to keep watch on his family. He alleged that Kesarimal and Shah were harassing them so that he would vacate his house.
He alleged in the FIR that on Jan 16, Kajal was riding her scooter and when she was about to enter the society, Patni suddenly closed the remote operated gate which hit Kajal and she fell down.
She was admitted to a private hospital near Vijay Crossroads where she was diagnosed with internal injuries.
When Rajesh raised this issue with Kesarimal and Shah, they threatened Rajesh saying that if he brought up the matter with them again, he would be forced to leave his house.
Rajesh said he was scared and busy with his wife’s treatment so he did not approach the police earlier.
Shahibaug police registered a complaint of causing hurt, uttering abusive words, criminal intimidation, abetment and wrongful restraint against Patni, Kesarimal and Shah.
