Hubballi: In the recent moral policing case in Hangal, an attempt is being made to cover up the case by paying money to the survivor, alleged former CM Basavaraj Bommai. Speaking to media persons here on Sunday, Bommai alleged that the Haveri police had offered money to the victim and the survivor to close the case. “The government must constitute a special investigation team to probe this incident.As chief minister Siddaramaiah is to visit Haveri on Monday, the BJP expects him to make an announcement in this regard,” Bommai added.
