For users to make an informed decision about their favorite clothes, Google has added the option that previews clothes on different skin tones and body types. This makes it easy for users to get an idea of ​​how the clothes they are viewing will look on them.
The feature works on the company’s generative AI model that can take a cloth and show users how it will drape, fold, stick, stretch, and create wrinkles and shadows over a diverse set of real models in various poses. Currently the sizes available to the users are between XXS and 4XL. Along with this, different skin tones, body shapes, ethnic and hair types are also available for the users.
Refine product search using new filters
In addition to the new Virtual Try-On feature, google shopping is also getting some new filters that will allow users to find exactly what they want. Based on machine learning and new visual matching algorithms, the new filters will help users refine their search until they find what they want.
