“As per central government rules, there should be a delay of at least six weeks for any area to be considered drought-hit. So we will wait till 15th July. At present the weather forecast is positive. Already, monsoon has advanced in many districts, while it has been delayed in other districts, especially in Kittur Karnataka and Kalyan Karnataka regions,” the minister said.
