Gujarat: No age bar for 88 year old to flex his body. Surat News – Times of India

Surat: He has been instrumental in popularizing Yoga Gujarat for more than four decades. A course on Yoga was started during his tenure as Director of Physical Education at Bhavnagar University.
He may be 88, but Dr RJ Jadeja Can give tough competition to people in their 20s. “I retired from Bhavnagar University as the Director of Physical Education 22 years ago. Due to my efforts, former minister of Gujarat Mahendra Trivedi Tried to include Yoga in the National School Games. “We have successfully arranged international tournaments in Gujarat in the last few years,” Jadeja told TOI.
This year, Jadeja has decided to organize 50 yoga camps across the state to mark the completion of 50 years of the Lakulish temple at Kayavrohan near Vadodara. Jadeja is the patron of Indian Yogasana Play Sangh and also General Secretary of Yoga and Cultural Association of Gujarat. “I have decided to participate in 50 camps across the state when it completes 50 years in May next year. I have already attended camps at Palitana, Salangpur, Patan, Halol, Malsar. Soon I will join Shibir in Surat and Bhavnagar.
Jadeja is also fondly known as ‘Bhishma Pitamah’ among the yoga fraternity because of his long association and contribution to yoga. He has won many awards and has been honored at many events.
