Himachal Pradesh cabinet meeting was held in Shimla on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu. Many major decisions have been taken in the meeting. State model day-boarding schools will open at 13 places

Representatives of Jal Shakti Department, Finance Department and Law Department will also be included in this committee. The Cabinet gave its nod to start construction activities for opening Rajiv Gandhi Government Model Day-Boarding Schools up to primary level at Jwalamukhi in Kangra district and Fatehpur and Bhoranj in Hamirpur district. The cabinet has already given approval to start construction of such schools at 13 places in the state.

Approval to fill 69 posts of jail warders

The Cabinet decided to fill 69 posts of Jail Warders in Prisons Department. The cabinet also decided to fill up 20 posts of different categories in Nalagarh (Kishanpura) sub-jail in Solan district of Prison Department.

Three police stations will open on Kiratpur-Manali fourlane

The Cabinet approved opening of Highway-cum-Tourist Police Stations at Bhaghed in Bilaspur district, Nerchowk in Mandi district and Bhuntar in Kullu district on Kiratpur-Manali National Highway and creation and filling up of necessary posts of various categories to make these stations functional. granted permission.


Honorarium of selected representatives of Panchayati Raj Institutions, part-time Panchayat Chowkidars increased

The cabinet also decided to enhance the monthly honorarium of part-time panchayat chowkidars from Rs.6200 to Rs.6700. This will benefit 3226 Panchayat Chowkidars of the state. This decision will be applicable from 1 April 2023. Apart from this, it has also been decided to increase the honorarium of selected representatives of Panchayati Raj institutions. Five thousand each for Zilla Parishad President and Vice President, Rs 500 for members, Rs 500 for Panchayat Samiti President, Vice President and Panchayat Samiti members. 500-500 each of the Panchayat Pradhan and Up-Pradhan, while the honorarium of the member has been increased by Rs 200. At the same time, the honorarium of sewing teachers has been increased earlier, but the cabinet has approved it on Tuesday.
