Hrithik Roshan reviews Priyanka Chopra’s spy thriller Citadel: ‘You’ve Killed It’

Bollywood’s heartthrob, Hrithik Roshan has a candid review for his co-star Priyanka ChopraThe espionage thriller Citadel. The actor was impressed with Priyanka’s exceptional performance in the series. The two have worked together in several films (read Agneepath, Krrish and Krrish 3). Both are said to be good friends and often help in each other’s work through social media. Hrithik Roshan has always expressed his admiration and appreciation for impressive performances. In another instance, the superstar gave a shoutout to Priyanka Chopra Jonas after watching her show Citadel.

Hrithik praised Priyanka on his Instagram stories. He wrote, “What a wonderful surprise to see Priyanka in Gadh! Great job! Plus, incredibly entertaining show! Excellent direction and screenplay. PC you killed it this time too well!! Very proud.” Priyanka Chopra also went on to reply, “Thanks my friend.”

Citadel received mixed reviews from critics and fans. Despite the overwhelming response, the makers have already started the second season of the series, with its Indian and Italian counterparts already in production. Citadel stars Priyanka Chopra Jonas alongside Game of Thrones fame Richard Madden, an Indian adaptation of the same is also underway with Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who plays a Garh spy in the show, has her own spy universe just like her friend and co-star Hrithik Roshan, who has created a furore with his role of Kabir in War, which is YRF’s Espionage is part of the universe.

Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra is looking forward to shooting for Farhan Akhtar-directed Bollywood film Jee Le Zara. The film will also star Alia Bhatt And Katrina Kaif in lead roles. Priyanka Chopra was last seen in the romantic comedy Love Again.

Citadel centers around an espionage organization that is on the brink of extinction unless its top-level agents restore command. Garh is all about action, drama and romance between detectives Nadia (Priyanka) and Mason (Richard). It is a multi-series and the Indian version, directed by Raj and DK, will be directed by Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Varun Dhawan. Episodes of Citadel will be released every Friday until the finale premieres on May 26.
