Criminals of Aman Sahu gang shot dead a Deputy SP of ATS and an SI of Ramgarh district police in Patratu area of ​​Ramgarh district of Jharkhand. Ramgarh police said that both have been brought to Ranchi for treatment. The condition of Deputy SP is said to be serious.

Ramgarh SP Piyush Pandey told that the team of ATS and Ramgarh police had come to raid to nab the criminals of Aman Sahu gang. In Patratu area of ​​Ramgarh district, criminals saw the police and opened fire on them. During the encounter, DSP Neeraj Kumar and SI Sonu Sau posted in ATS were shot. Both the injured policemen have been referred to a hospital in Ranchi.

The condition of both the policemen is stable.

Jharkhand Police IG (Operations) spokesperson AV Homkar said a team of ATS Ranchi was conducting the raid in Patratu area of ​​Ramgarh district. Some criminals opened fire on the special raiding team led by ATS DSP Neeraj Kumar. ATS DSP Neeraj Kumar and SI Sonu Sau have been shot. The condition of both is stable and they are undergoing treatment at a hospital in Ranchi.

 

Jharkhand has seen an increase in criminal incidents in recent times. Fearless criminals are committing one incident after another. A day earlier on Sunday, an employee of Central Coalfield Limited (CCL) was targeted by some miscreants in Ramgarh district itself. Unidentified bike-borne miscreants opened fire on the employee. The injured employee has been shifted to a hospital in Ranchi.

On the other hand, in Latehar district on Sunday, an elderly couple was killed by slitting their throats in their house on the instigation of witchcraft. In this case, the police have detained some people for questioning.

RSS leader shot dead in Dhanbad

Earlier, on July 12, a Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader was shot dead by some unidentified miscreants in Dhanbad district. The RSS leader was identified as Shankar Prasad, 55, who was the RSS’s liaison chief in Dhanbad.

PDS dealer shot dead by gunmen

In another incident, a 40-year-old Public Distribution System (PDS) dealer was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Palamu district. The police officer said that a person named Bengali Oraon was attacked inside his house in Bhikhipalwa village under Chhatarpur police station. He died on the way to the hospital.
