The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday carried out attachment proceedings in the Mira Road house of Arif Abubakar Sheikh, the main accused in the D Company case. This action was taken against Arif under UAPA. Arif is believed to be the brother of underworld don Chhota Shakeel’s wife and an influential member of the gang.
