Lucknow is the third team after Gujarat and Chennai to reach the playoffs. Now Mumbai and RCB are the strongest contenders for the fourth spot. Batting first in this match, Lucknow scored 176 runs for eight wickets on the basis of a half-century from Nicholas Poorne. In response, the Kolkata team could score only 175 runs despite Rinku Singh’s unbeaten 67 runs. In bowling, Vaibhav, Shardul and Naren took two wickets each for Kolkata. At the same time, Ravi Bishnoi and Yash Thakur took two wickets each for Lucknow.
