U- 16 trials: As many as 212 aspirants appeared in the Under–16 trial held at KDMA School Barra – 8 on Wednesday.Selectors examined the playing skills of young cricketers and picked the players in the first phase. According to secretary, Kanpur Cricket Association, Kaushal Kumar Singh, in the next phase teams of selected boys would be constituted for trial matches in the last week of this month. And on the basis of performance the Kanpur district team will be picked.
U-19 trial- Kanpur Cricket Association will conduct trials for U- 19 years players at Sapru ground Shuklaganj from April 12,2024. Kaushal Kumar Singh informed that on April 12, players whose names begin with A to P in English Alphabet will appear in the trials and on next day i.e April 13, players whose names begin with R to Z and players belong to Kanpur Dehat and Kannauj district will appear for trials.
