Lieutenant Governor of Delhi VK Saxena has removed around 400 private employees appointed in various departments of the Delhi government. The AAP government opposed the LG’s decision and said they would challenge the decision in court.
Not only this, AAP accused the LG that he is hell-bent on destroying Delhi completely. Their job is only to trouble the people of Delhi.

Delhi government says, LG has no right to remove employees. He is working illegally and against the constitution. His job is to find new ways every day to paralyze the Delhi government, so that the people of Delhi suffer.
Decision taken without issuing show cause notice
A statement issued by the AAP on Monday said, “The LG removed these 400 talented young professionals only because they decided to join the Delhi government.” Show cause notice was also not issued by LG. It is wrong to take such a decision without explanation.

The Delhi government had inducted fellows from top colleges like IIM Ahmedabad, Delhi School of Economics, NALSAR, JNU, NIT, London School of Economics, Cambridge in its various departments.
The Lieutenant Governor has said that the mandatory reservation for SC/ST/OBC candidates has not been followed in these recruitments. Not only this, the educational qualification and experience of the candidates recruited on these posts do not follow the rules.
