MD cardiologist doctor took 26 thousand rupees from a poor person who came for treatment under Ayushman Yojana in Sonepat, Haryana by showing fear of death. The video of Dr. Mukesh taking June’s money has also surfaced. Explain that the treatment of Ayushman card holders up to Rs 5 lakh in a year is free. The nodal officer of the health department said that action will be taken on receiving the complaint.

PM Narendra Modi has implemented Ayushman Yojana to provide free treatment facilities to poor families. In Sonipat, the poor are being looted openly in this scheme. Regarding this, 26 thousand rupees have been openly taken by MD cardiologist Dr. Mukesh Joon from the relatives of a patient who had come for heart treatment in a hospital. For this, the relatives of the patient were intimidated by showing the fear of death of the patient.

52 thousand asked for two rings

In the viral video and audio, Dr. Mukesh Joon is telling the relatives of the patient that there is 95% blockage. The cost in Ayushman is zero, but if you want to get good results, then if you want to get blood thinner injections and other good rings, then you will have to spend some money. Under Ayushman, the hospital gets 75 thousand rupees. To put good rings, you have to do something at your level. The doctor said that for two rings it would cost 50 to 52000 rupees.

Did not agree for 20 thousand rupees

After this, the relatives of the poor patient asked to give 20 thousand rupees, then the doctor refused, but the doctor is talking about doing the operation for 26 thousand rupees. He said that the hospital does not want to do anything, I am doing it at my level only. Meanwhile, the doctor is seen taking Rs 26,000 in the video.

…otherwise you will cry later

The doctor also said that how important the operation is, you would not have known, if it is not done on time, then you will cry later that it would have been better if you had done it earlier. That is, the fear of death of the patient was shown several times by the doctor to extract money. The same doctor told one injection to thin the blood for 10000 rupees, reduced 20 thousand rupees for 2 injections and said to give 12 thousand rupees.

In the video, a young man from a village in Sonipat, who is seen giving money to the doctor, said that his father had a heart attack. During this, they took him to a private hospital. Where it was said that there is no presence of a doctor in the hospital. The same victim was asked to talk directly by giving her a number. The doctor asked to bring the patient to another private hospital.

Doctor said – poor quality treatment in Ayushman

The doctor talked about inserting rings under the Ayushman scheme, but said that their quality would be of very poor quality. Due to which the attack can come again and they cannot be trusted whether those rings i.e. stents last for 1 day or 4 years. The doctor also told the relatives that if they ask, they will put better stents than Ayushman, but it will cost separately. Whose cost was said to be 50 thousand.

12 thousand separately sought for injection

When he cited poverty to the doctor, a deal was done for 26 thousand. The same doctor also talked about 20 thousand rupees separately for blood thinner, then the victim’s family expressed their disagreement and said that they have only 12 thousand rupees. Later the doctor agrees to 12 thousand only.

Action will be taken on receipt of complaint

Nodal Officer of Ayushman in Sonepat Health Department, Dr. Anita said that the government has given facility of Ayushman card to the families having income below Rs.1.80 lakh. There is a provision to get them free treatment up to 5 lakhs in a year in private and government hospitals. Regarding the loot happening with the people in the name of Ayushman card, the officer said that he has not received any complaint in writing yet. Action will be taken as soon as the complaint reaches.
