Loud Voice Triggers Fight | Mangaluru News – Times of India

Mangaluru: A man was assaulted after he politely asked his visiting relative to lower his voice because his child was sleeping. Ramesh K,37, from Balpa village in Kadaba, stated in a complaint that his relative, Sundar Hosmatt, had come to his house on Tuesday evening. When Hosmatt began to speak loudly, Ramesh requested him to speak softly as his child was asleep.
Angered by this simple request, Hosmatt allegedly attacked Ramesh with a sickle in a fit of rage. Ramesh was subsequently admitted to the Subrahmanya Primary Health Centre for treatment on Wednesday. Following the complaint, a case was registered under IPC section 324 (voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapon or means), and an investigation is in progress. tnn
