1. At the age of 82, Sharad Pawar is working on his mission to revive the party from the grassroots level. He will start his tour by visiting Nashik, Pune, Solapur and various areas of Vidarbha region. These areas include constituencies of rebel MLAs like Chhagan Bhujbal and Dhananjay Mundem. During his visit, Pawar aims to revive and strengthen the party in these places.

2. Fadnavis emphasized that his party does not actively create divisions within other political parties. 7. NCP leader Praful Patel said the party is not divided and on June 30, the legislature party and organizational branches unanimously appointed Ajit Pawar as party president. Addressing a press conference here, Patel said he has submitted a petition to the Election Commission. The Government of India (ECI) informed it with affidavits of over 40 MLAs about Ajit Pawar’s appointment and claiming the “party name and symbol”.

8. NCP spokesperson Clyde Crasto, who is from the Sharad Pawar camp, said that if the structure of the party organization was flawed, then his appointment as working president and Ajit Pawar as national president was also invalid.

9. Ajit Pawar has claimed that his faction is the legitimate Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and has taken over the party’s name and symbol from the Election Commission. At present, he seems to be getting the support of 32 MLAs, while Sharad Pawar has the support of 14 MLAs.
