Hisar: A Hisar court has convicted a youth and sentenced him to 20 years of imprisonment in a three-and-a-half-year old rape case involving a minor girl.
The court also imposed a fine of Rs 1 lakh on the convict.
The police had registered a case in this regard on July 2020, based on the complaint by the girl’s mother. The girl was a Class IV student.

Karnal: A team of anti-corruption bureau (ACB), Karnal arrested a junior engineer posted at electricity board office in Sector 6 here for allegedly taking a bribe of Rs 85,000 to increase the load of a transformer.He has
been identified as Dalbir. He was arrested after the bureau received a complaint and carried out a probe.
The court also imposed a fine of Rs 1 lakh on the convict.
